What we do?

SDT offers wired and wireless infrastructure planning, design, integration, optimization and maintenance. We will tailor a solution package in line with our client’s ICT requirements to ensure a quick return on investment at a cost effective capital outlay.

  • ICT Infrastructure: SDT offers a full turnkey solution for ICT infrastructure requirements through the design,  installation and maintenance of LAN copper cabling, fibre reticulation and  server room infrastructure including Fire suppression, monitoring, Data cabinets, heat management raised flooring and active equipment

  • WiFi: SDT has partnered with several market leaders to enable us to provide a flexible choice of WiFi solutions. Our solutions can provide full wireless heat mapping of current installations as well AP placement in new buildings to optimise the coverage and connectivity.

  • Wireless Mesh Networks (WMN): A multi-radio cross communicating architecture ideal for outdoor deployments creating reliable wireless networks that can be established in almost any location, without the cost and delays of installing copper or fibre cabling.  WMN enables us to optimise delivery of voice, video and data transmissions in outdoor environments.

  • RF: We provide a full range of point to point (PtP) and point to multi point (PtmP) radio frequency products both within the unlicensed and licensed frequency bandwidths, our RF systems are easy to deploy, requiring no wayleaves to cross public roads, offering high performance throughput for voice, data and video  applications.

  • Free Space Optics: Specially designed laser links providing optimized full duplex GbE-transmissions over distances of between 100m - 1000m, with only one LAN cable needed to connect to an existing network and to power the unit, these links provide high-performance connectivity and fast deployment in areas with high RF density or where fibre is inaccessible or installation is being hindered.

  • Satellite: Our satellite solutions are deployed in hard to reach areas where connectivity is a challenge; these are normally sites in rural and remote locations where there is limited or no internet connectivity. There is no risk of cable theft and the solutions are able to be powered by solar panels.
